ABA Kennel Name Registration
To protect your right to your exclusive kennel name and to avoid the confusion of more than one kennel using the same name, the ABA is offering a LIFETIME kennel registration for the low fee of $100.00. Your registered kennel name will never need to be renewed, and gives you the exclusive right to use that name on all ABA registrations and American Bulldog Review advertising.
To make sure all the information is accurate, all unregistered ABA breeders with a kennel name they want registered should provide us with a check in the amount of $100.00 and the following data: [1] name of kennel, and [2] name and address of owner(s), and e-mail and/web site address. Send fee and data to:
American Bulldog Association, 71801 Hill Rd, Covelo, CA 95428 USA
All new to the breed, new breeders and breeders from other registries new to ABA will have to register the kennel name they will be registering their pups with and advertising under, for the low lifetime registration fee of $100.00.
ABA registered kennels are registered for life,
with exclusive
use of
their registered kennel name for ABA registration
and American Bulldog Review advertising.
All new kennel names will be added to the roster of ABA registered kennels and you will receive an attractive ABA Registered Kennel Certificate with gold seal ready to be framed and proudly displayed.
Internet Advertising
at this time we are offering ABA breeders (with a registered kennel name) a listing in our Internet Web Site:
AMERICAN BULLDOG WORLD
the Most Comprehensive American Bulldog Informational Site on the Web
(over one million hits per year!)
for 1 calendar year (12 months)
for the low rate of $100.00.
(Available to ABA registered kennels only)
Our web site at www.american-bulldog.com is an extremely comprehensive American Bulldog Information Site with the equivalent of over 500 text pages. This site will be packed with reliable, authentic American Bulldog data. Besides a Directory of ABA Breeders, the Site will have a list of Clubs and upcoming shows and WABA Seminars and certifications. Space will be made available to the WABA and all ABA sanctioned clubs for their regional newsletters. All the official ABA business will be posted, as well as selected informational articles from our 13 year Bulldog publishing career. And because it is a personal favorite with "ye old editor", it will have the most comprehensive Bulldog History data in the world. We will have separate sections for a hereditary succession discussion of the AB breed, training, hunting and much more. This Site will be in a constant state of flux and will go with the flow of the Bulldog World.
Because American Bulldogs are being accepted as a worthwhile addition to the realm of working dogs, there are many out there ready and willing to part the uninitiated with their hard earned bucks. A recent bust of a large puppy mill in Washington State, which was mass peddling AB’s as well as other rare breeds through DogWorld and Dog Fancy, is a prime example. Others are peddling Olde Bulldoggee/AB crosses, or Pit Bull or Pit Bull/AB crosses to the unwary. Many first time dog buyers assume that because a dog costs $1,000 or more it has to be a quality dog! They buy and then research. These peddlers are on the opposite side of the spectrum from most of the ABA breeders.
ABA Breeders have honorable goals and aspirations with the breed that goes beyond sending our kids through college or lining our pockets. The ABA has made it "Priority One" to make it possible for the newcomer to find genuine information on the breed and to locate breeders that are truly concerned with the breed.
The new phone number for the ABA Registration office is 707.354.0851. Please phone Tuesdays thru Thursdays 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pacific time.
